Have you ever noticed how two people can do the exact same workout and one sees results and the other remains the same? It can be very frustrating for the person not seeing any results.
Oftentimes it can be the intensity at which you exercise that might be why your not seeing the results you want.
Intensity is hard to judge but usually you know if your working as hard as you can.
It may be adding more weight when you have always been using 8lb weights its picking up 10lbs. Its going a little heavier on the bike resistance. Its trying a new exercise that may be difficult at first. Its working harder then last time and not just as little as possible.
We all have days when we are coming back from illness, haven’t been eating or sleeping well, etc…
But overall if low intensity workouts become what you do each time you workout then you won’t see the results you want. Sometimes we want to blame outside factors but often its just stepping outside our comfort zones and trying something new.
