Abbi O’donnell

For the past 8 years, I have been involved in fitness in one capacity or another. After high school, I was a cheerleading conditioning coach for one year. I also led a circuit training class during my freshman year in college. The following year I led a smaller group in a more one on one environment. I love variety and am always looking to change things up with things like Tabata, circuit training, HIIT, kickboxing, Pilates, etc.

I am currently creating a book of body weight workouts that are fun and have variety. Each workout is different every day and I use different types (like those listed above) to change it up.

My approach to fitness is all about body positivity and becoming stronger. In order to get anywhere with fitness, I believe that one MUST first accept themselves for who they are and where they're at. Otherwise, fitness has the potential to become UNHEALTHY. Once you can accept yourself for yourself, you can begin to test your limits and push past them! Becoming stronger is always my goal! Our bodies are SO MUCH STRONGER than we give them credit for because our minds give up WAY before our bodies will. I believe in pushing people's limits no matter where they're starting from. I ALWAYS have modifications either harder or simpler for those who need them and I encourage people to take them in order to build up their strength, perfect their form, and challenge themselves.

When it comes to nutrition, I'm all about eating in a way that nourishes and strengthens my body without hurting my mind and that is what I will always encourage.
